50,000 World Traditional Medicine (WTM) Patents Now Available in CAplus
•
A total of 22,000 World Traditional Medicine (WTM) patents from many different countries were recently added to the CAplus archive, increasing the total number of these unique patents to 50,000.
•
WTM records expand coverage of this unique type of prior art, which is gaining in importance within the pharmaceutical and consumer products industries.

Focus your reaction searches by limiting or refining by Non-
participating Functional Groups or classes
Access chemical supplier information more directly•
Assign priorities for preferred or non-
preferred chemical suppliers

Organize supplier information with improved commercial source record display

STN database producers continue to add more content•
EMBASE adds unique records from MEDLINE, expanding coverage back to 1948
• MEDLINE coverage is extended back to 1947•
Derwent World Patents Index (DWPI) Revises Indexing of Author Abstracts.
•
New sequence display formats FASTA and FASTA2 have been added to
the sequence databases USGENE and PCTGEN.
•
The INPADOC files have been enriched with new content and new SELECT fields.
•
INSPEC is mapping its own indexing schemes to the WIPO IPC system of assigning IPC codes to relevant records.
•
PATDPAFULL: Application and priority number formats have been enhanced so that almost all numbers follow the STN standard formats.
• DWPI: New display format ALLSTR is available.•
New Thesaurus Added to Derwent Databases for Smooth Sailing through U.S. Patent Codes.
