EWS7928PNeutron Series 24-Port Gigabit PoE+ Wireless Managementswitch with 4 SFP PortsThe EnGenius Neutron Series EWS7928P is a Neutron series managedwireless solution 24-Port Gigabit PoE+ Layer 2 switch with 4 Dual-Speed SFP ports ideal for wireless Access Points, VoIP (Voice-over-IP)phones, and IP surveillance applications.As part of an EnGenius Neutron-series wireless managementsolution, the EWS7928P through its browser-based GUI (GraphicalUser Interface) can discover, con gure, manage and monitor up to50 Neutron Series wireless Access Points. The controller mode ofthe switch provides a suite of wireless management features for ITmanagers to con gure Neutron-series Access Points. Features includeclustering Neutron-series Access Points in clusters with identical poli-cies,Access Point IP Auto-Discovery, remote Access Pointrebooting for hard-to-reach / previously deployed units, and a hostof visual monitoring features including topology andoor plan viewmodes for the mapping out and tracking of networks. The controlleralso features a statistics section for record tra c tracking andcomparison between units or over-time comparisons.The interface also lets IT managers apply con guration changes tomultiple Access Points or the entire network simultaneously. A dash-boardprovides instant access to a variety of clients, networkinformation, and events, while a real time map displays Access Pointlocations and network topology for planning and deployment.Managing the wired portion of the network is also easy using thesame browser-based interface.
