NBA: King of the Court is a free to play, location-based, augmented reality game for both iPhone and Android phone where players will compete to become the “King” of virtual basketball courts placed in real-world locations around the world.



WMATA Safety Measurement System – Integration with Android

EastBanc Technologies implemented a SharePoint solution for public transportation incident management, which also required remote access by supervisors who needed access to incident data stored in SharePoint 2010 as well as submit new records (descriptions and photos of the incidents) from the field. The integration solution consists of two components: Web Services layer (middleware) which communicates to SharePoint API, and native Android application, which allows users to browse data in

online\offline mode, collect data and submit it to server.



DDOT: RideDC Windows 8 Application

DDOT is a Windows 8 Tablet Application - the next generation technology that provides energy efficiency and modern mobility alternative to single occupancy driving in the city. It visualizes real time multimodal transit options for the Washington DC commuters on the map: Metro routs, Circulator and Metro Bus stops and arrival predictions, locations of the Capitol Bike-share docks and bikes availability, Car Share exact locations, vehicles availability, tag numbers and fuel level. A user can click on the

mode of transportation icon and get information about how many bikes are available in the particular docks, or available vehicles.

This application was designed within Microsoft and DDOT collaboration on developing and maintaining a cohesive more sustainable transportation system and travel practices—while protecting and enhancing the natural, environmental and cultural resources of the District.

Public Transit Data Community has a goal of combining disparate transit data feeds from the agencies around the United State into normalized format and exposing them as API. Microsoft JobsRadar Windows 8 Application

Microsoft JobsRadar Windows 8 Application provides access to several datasets related to critical employment and unemployment information. It is purposed to showcase Windows 8 features to government executives and their assistants.

The application extracts data stored in Azure cloud and presents it in a user-friendly format of statistical reports. It enables users to specify a dataset to display. Geo based detailed data is displayed atop the Bing maps and provides current and retrospective view on the employment patterns for the particular area comparing them to the state and national reference point. Integration with social analytics allows for slicing social activity based on keywords and determining how social activity trends over the time for given keywords. The JobsRadar application integrates with social networks (Twitter) displaying social analytics based on unemployment related keywords as well as particular tweets.

RCN Mobile is an iPhone and Android application that delivers an account management to existing RCN customers - right to their mobile devices with the following functionalities: account overview; secure payment activities and account management; retrieving landline call history and voicemail via the mobile phone; updating customer’s personal information, etc.



Acron Aeros Baseball Menu for Android Tablets

The cloud based Baseball Menu web application is designed to mobilize the process of taking food orders, sending them to the kitchen, and delivering food to guests accelerating the service and improving overall dining experience in VIP suites of the Ballparks. The application saves many steps to the servers who communicate with the kitchen and track the status of orders via tablet computers.



CRM Based Event Permitting and Management Windows 8 Application

Windows 8 app acting as a client for Microsoft Online CRM based Event Permitting and Management solution accelerator. Solution accelerator purposed to streamline Event Permitting process in cities administrations. App allows city workers review and approve event applications; add supplemental notes and photos right on spot.

Application connects to existing “CRM online” server and presents user with workflow choices based on permissions defined in CRM system.



Guide to Farmers Markets and Wineries for Windows 8

The Farmers Markets and Wineries Windows 8 Tablet Application is designed to make the navigation to the New York State summer favorite visiting spots an easy and pleasant delight.

Based on the NY State ITS dataset the app visualizes locations of more than 500 Wineries and Breweries and more than 400 Farmers Markets in New York State, providing information about location, schedule, type of license, web site, etc. The search can be filtered by the county, or license type of the brewery and the results can be shared with friends via email.



Food Health Level Application for Windows Phone, iPhone and Android Phone The application provides users with nutrition information for packaged food products by scanning bar code or entering product ID manually. A unique feature of the app is the analysis of nutrition information and visual notification about healthiness level. Users can also specify list of allergens and get alerts when scanned products contains listed allergens.

Additionally, the app analyzes nutrition information of the product and provides visual reference of relative healthiness level, calories to average daily norm, and sends visual alerts in case the product contains some allergens. The option for creating personal profile enables users to personalize the results generation based on the individual list of allergens and ingredients that they like or don’t like.
