B-Girl Be: A Celebration of Women in Hip-Hop

("The B-Girl Be event is an all encompassing female inspired Hip-Hop event that touches on all aspects of Hip-Hop, with emphasis on showcasing female graffiti writers and the community issues that we as women involved in Hip-Hop face. B-Girl Be focuses on the ever growing, conscious, socially aware, powerful and positive group emerging and taking their rightful throne: Women in Hip-Hop. I am eagerly anticipating what the B-Girl Be 2006 conference has on deck.”)

Distribution Model

Anderson argued that products that are in low demand or have low sales volume can collectively make up a market share that rivals or exceeds the relatively few current bestsellers and blockbusters, if the store or distribution channel is large enough. The Long Tail is a potential market and, as the examples illustrate, the distribution and sales channel opportunities created by the Internet often enable businesses to tap into that market successfully.
