TAA eligible products are manufactured or substantially transformed in countries having a qualified trade agreement with the U.S.

Government buying contracts such as GSA and SEWP require TAA for product listings. These procurement vehicles influence and guide the federal end-customers purchasing options

The Trade Agreements Act (TAA) is a requirement for US Government procurements greater than $191K and is referenced in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 52.225-5 https://www.acquisition.gov/far/index.html. TAA compliant products are manufactured or substantially transformed in a designated country that has signed a qualifying free trade agreement like NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) or WTO GPA (World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement). Designated Countries Summary (detailed list below): Canada, Hong Kong, Ireland, Mexico, Taiwan, and United States are designated countries and China, Malaysia, and Thailand are not designated countries. The majority of Cisco's configured end products are available from a designated country, and ordering processes are in place to ensure that, when available and identified properly, compliant products are shipped for these orders.TAA is mandatory for selling

to the U.S. Government
