Using Camcorders in the classroom

IELTS interview practice

To practice IELTS interviews, use the camcorders to record them. This can be done by you or by the students interviewing each other.  You can then upload them to either Google Docs, You Tube or another service. You can then set focus question for them to answer about it. e.g. did you answer the question fully? Did you use the correct tense in the answer?

Presentation practice/analysis

Using camcorders can be a great way for students to analyse their own and others' presentations, particularly things like eye contact/gestures as well as language.  these can be recorded, watch either whole class or in groups and then discussed.
