With this in mind Bill Gates once said Microsoft's goal were, "key visions for the company was to "to get a workstation running our software onto every desk and eventually in every home. Because of their huge market share in home and business operating systems, they play an important role in the economics of software." They set up a global market when they do things like this. They also spread out their services into different markets. Microsoft markets computer hardware such as their own mouse, and products such as Xbox, Xbox 360, and Zune.
