Regardless of whether or not your organisation permits its staff and students to use their mobile devices for work and study, some people are going to do it anyway. So rather than try to outlaw the inevitable, it makes more sense to establish a sensible strategy for managing mobile devices and for “bring your own device to work” (BYOD) policy.

Scheme is financed by the college

Learners make monthly payments, which include full insurance for the college and device.

At the end of the term the device is theirs to keep.

A few lessons learned

Embark on the journey for the right reasons
