This is the establishing shot and is of girls is boat going through white rapids, which mean that they like adventure. The long shot means your distanced from the characters at the start, but it zooms in on them as if you get to know them.

Page 3: Nine screen thingy

In cuts away to a medium shot of one of the girls family, as the camera is closer to them they have a certain importance to film.

Page 4: Nine screen thingy

On the shots with the boat alone it is normally on a montage of fast moving shots which shot no detail alone which shows the fast movement. When the boat is in a shot with the family the camera is still to reflect the water and make the scene calmer.

This is a longshot of the car as it travels this is to show the distance a car can go as can the boat hence they use longshots. The names of the cast are written backward as the story so far is not the actuality of the film.

In this shot it is from the wind screen and shows the whole family and how they look like a normal group. Not knowing that this is the same way the horror comes from. This being a close up makes you not think what harm could come from close up.

This is from the kids perspective and is a first person view at the in coming van as the parents argue. The mirror shows the male’s emotion as he is the person who's emotion comes from the eyes.

This is a close up on the farther being stabbed in the head by the metal rods off the van. Seen as this shot is only on for a few seconds the blood doesn’t need to look real.

The shot of the cars crashed together and blood pouring out of the side of the car. The camera is set as an crane shot zooming out to show this scene.
