An Assignment on Cost & Management Accounting
First time unused TV “white space” (TVWS) frequencies were combined with solar-powered base stations to deliver low-cost broadband to a rural area lacking even basic electricity.
Asia’s Silicon Valley i.e Bangalore where you can get fastest internet ever supposed but in reality speed of my internet comes with a bill of two thousand at the months end.
So how do you suppose farmers would be enjoying the internet at remote rural India without electricity
and devoid of any mobile services ???
Even if they able to get a network would it be at affordable price !!!
Why TV White Space?
• TV Spectrum (300 – 700 MHz)
• Long Distance Coverage (30km*)
• High Penetration (works indoors, through dense foliage, etc.)
• Non Line of Sight (NLOS)
• 2-way high Speed Connection (20Mbps/6MHz; 1Gbps/300MHz)
• Scalable
• Lower Power Consumption
• Economical
New Proposed Cost (10 GB)
