What are mobile phones?A mobile phone is a device that can

make and receive telephone calls over aradio link while moving around a wide geographic area. It does so by connecting to a cellular network provided by a mobile phone operator, allowing access to the public telephone network.

a wide variety of  services such as text messaging, MMS, email, Internet access, short-range wireless communications (infrared, Bluetooth), business applications, gaming and photography , they offer general computing capabilities and so are called smart phones

century kids or teenagers or even elders . Girls or boys and in all life fields…

Workers : they use mobile phones for their work calls & to

communicate with the people their work is related to

are generally used for calling , texting and being in touch with

people, it is also used for navigation or surfing the net , it

cant also be used as video or music player, and a camera to

take pictures of the special events

Advantages & Disadvantages of mobile phones

Advantages :- 1-  you can communicate with your family and

your friends no matter where you are.2- they assist in business a lot, such as, make

schedule of working, surf the internet, and keep in touch with companies. 

3-  you can relax with mobile phone’s applications, for example, play games, listen to music, or chat with your friends.

4- You can know the roads and routes by using the GPS system available in new smart mobile phones.

Disadvantages :-1-Using a lot mobile phone can harm your

brain, particularly teenager and children who are under 16 years old. 

2- If you constantly use mobile phones, it might may you feel dizzy, or cause blood-brain barrier, or ears problems. 

3- When you use mobile phones while you are driving, can cause a fatal accident. 

4- It has irritating effect on other people in restaurants, cinema halls, buses …

What are laptops?

A laptop is a portable personal computer with a clamshell form factor, suitable for mobile use. A laptop has most of the same components as a desktop computer, including a display, a keyboard, a pointing device such as a touchpad ,and speakers into a single unit. A laptop is powered by mains electricity via an AC adapter, and can be used away from an outlet using a rechargeable battery. Laptops are also sometimes called notebook computers or notebooks.

Uses of laptops2. In some country's for example Chinese people

don't have very big houses. they can not afford to have a large desktop in their home so choose to have a laptop or notebook because they don't take up much room. 

3. Also to create ease of access for people that don't stay at home a lot and keep moving. they can still keep doing their work and other things on them. and one more thing. people with businesses move around a lot and sometimes it is just too hard for someone to be carrying a desktop around all the time.

Advantages & Disadvantages of laptops

Advantages :-1- Portable and can be easily carried around.2- Efficient and can be used by anyone for

many of data entering such as : typing or editing or designing …

3- Mobile, Wireless which makes them more efficient and compact.

4- Fun and can be entertaining

Disadvantages :-1- Often use of laptops can cause health

problems such as : RPI (repetitive strain injury)

2- As they are easy to carry and use they have high prices that cant be afforded by everyone.

3- they can get over heated which can cause damages to the machine.

4- The battery life is limited this will require the user to carry the charger where ever he goes and there should be an electric socket to charge it there.Back to menu
