Over 16.5 million Americans age 55 and over are active in online social networking.1
The number of people ages 70 to 75 who regularly use the Internet has increased from 26% in 2005 to 45%, according to research released early this year.2
Among those of the WWII generation who are online, 90% use Facebook. (Most of those users, 63%, are women.)3
