What is Secure Cloud Storage?

Secure Cloud Storage is essentially a secure offsite environment where all sorts of computer files and data can be stored and managed in secure data centres. This practice is becoming more prevalent as the need to safely store and manage electronic data is growing exponentially. A person or enterprise can use the “Cloud” to act as a storage place for all files in a secure place outside of the immediate workplace environment. All Functions such as File Sharing and Live Backup are performed through a simple software application running on a computer or any device. Remote access to the Cloud is possible via the web from any device.

The advantages of Cloud Storage are many as there is no infrastructure or maintenance cost to the user. Users typically pay a yearly or monthly fee for this service. SecurusVault offers unique, innovative features aimed at providing customers with the best on demand data storage solutions available.

Realtime BackupCreate an online copy of your files as soon as they’re created or modified in real-time with SecurusVault’s continuous synchronization. Or you can choose the frequency at which your data is backed up from every minute to every 5 hours.

Offline BackupOffline Backup permits a user to upload offline, selected files and encrypt them automatically into a ‘zip’ file. That zip file can then be uploaded to an external drive or CD and mailed to SecurusVault for immediate upload on our servers. This eliminates long waiting time for large data backups. No human can see the data.

Multi-Device SyncYou can store the latest version of a file on several devices so you can edit your document remotely at your convenience on your time – without having to bring the physical storage device with you.

Multiple DevicesCreate a separate online environment for as many devices as you like. You will see all your computers registered under your account.

File SharingShare your files with other SecurusVault users or external users who will be able to download your files from SecurusVault.

File Versions HistorySecurusVault stores your data smartly remembering its version history so you can access your data to the specific version of a file you need - even to the very beginning of the file history!

Remote AccessSecurely access your data even when you are away from office or home. A simple web interface with secure access allows SecurusVault users to access data from anywhere in the world. SecurusVault is continually adding new devices to access your data.

Online ArchiveIt’s never been easier or more affordable to securely archive your data. Store online all files you don’t want or need on your computer in SecurusVault. You can always access and download them from any device when you need them again.

Users ManagementBusiness clients will have an administrative console used to manage the several users accounts. This is particularly useful for system administrators to make sure that all corporate machines (personal and servers) are properly protected.

Data encryptionAll data is encrypted with the same technology used for online banking (military grade encryption). Only the user can access and modify it.

Calendar ShareSecurusVault provides the possibility to schedule meetings and invite attendees on a secure web based calendar. Notifications can be sent prior to the meeting at defined intervals. Attendees are notified via email of a new meeting request that can be accessed online on the SecurusVault account.

Email Your FilesYou can attach your files to an e-mail message and send it directly with SecurusVault in case your e-mail server is down or does not support large attachments.

MyNotesAs a user, you have the ability to remotely store any kind of textual (short) information such as PIN codes, passwords and account numbers. A simple encrypted online form will provide easy access to this information that now has to be written on physical supports or remembered by heart.
