Method 1: Use the Search Engines website submit tool

1. Google: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/submit-url

2. Enter your website URL, the Capatcha code and click the “Submit Request” button.

3. Bing: http://www.bing.com/toolbox/submit-site-url

4. Enter your website URL, the code and click the “Submit” button.

Method 1: Use the Search Engines website submit tool



Method 2: Use the Search Engines Webmaster Tools to submit website sitemap (sitemap.xml)

1. Create sitemap.xml file (if using WordPress, use Google XML Sitemaps or WordPress SEO by Yoast plugins)

2. Go to Google Webmaster Tools and register http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/

3. Click the “add a site” button and fill out the pop-up dialog box.




4. In the left hand menu go to “Crawl ->Sitemaps” and click on the “Add/Test Sitemap” button.




5. Enter “sitemap.xml” into the field in the pop-up dialog box or whatever the name or location of your sitemap file relative to your domain.

6. This will now submit an index of pages and posts on your website for Google to crawl.

Method 3: Submit website to blog search engines.

1. Go to http://howismysite.com/ and enter your domain name and click “Check Now”

2. When page reloads, down the very bottom will be a number of links

3. Open each one of these links at the bottom of the page in a new browser tab

4. Note: do not close this page where the links are displayed







5. Copy the new URL of the “How Is My Site” page which should look a little like the image below.




6. Go to http://pingoat.net/ and fill out the text boxes with the name of your website and the URL you copied from “How Is My Site”

7. Click the “Check all” link and click the “Go Pingoat!” button

8. Now wait for Pingoat to do it’s job and the list of engines will be notified of your new website.

9. Come back tomorrow and enter the following in Google: “site:mydomain.ext”. So in my case it would be “site:workfromhome.tv”.

10. Now you should see a number of pages appearing in the results.
