“Transinterpreter”
TRANSINTERPRETERA transinterpreter will be a linguist who works as both, a translator and interpreter, at the same time. Before the 21st century, these tasks were mostly performed by different professionals: translators translated text and interpreters interpreted the spoken word; they require very different skill sets. Some translators and interpreters, however, are able to be both a translator and an interpreter. In the 21st century, with the advent of new communication technologies, TRANSINTERPRETERS will be the norm, being linguists who perform as BOTH, translators and interpreters.
