Virtual Reality
Using Google Cardboard
Purpose of study:
• Applying VR in education system
• Applying VR in medical science• Applying VR in the Military• Applying VR in Entertainment• Applying VR in Engineering• Applying VR in Construction
Background:

View Master Oculus Rift
Google Cardboard
HTC ViveSony Morpheus
Samsung Gear VR
Objective:
• Virtual reality system• Recommended hardware• Virtual reality developing tool• The future of virtual reality
Scope:To experience virtual reality we have to use VR videos (made with go pro) or apps and a viewing device. A smart phone must be placed in front of the lens as shown in the picture. Then the user can use themobile screen and can experience virtual videos or apps.
Hypothesis:
We have collected information from more than seven top verified YouTube channels and many VR related articles. After all the study we can predict that everything we experience in life can be reduced to electrical activity, stimulating our brains as our sensory organs deliver information about the external world.
Abstract :Virtual reality is the computer-generated simulation of a three-dimensional image or environment that can be interacted with in a seemingly real or physical way by a person using special electronic equipment, such as a helmet with a screen inside or gloves fitted with sensors. In this study we focused on how to use VR in our daily life and in some specific sectors. Now-a-days virtual reality is being. We used laptops, smart phones, Google cardboard and internet. We can use virtual reality for experiencing almost everything in anywhere.
Introduction:Virtual reality is an artificial environment that is created with software and presented to the user in such a way that the user suspends belief and accepts it as a real environment.Virtual reality will put you in a virtual world where you have free access to almost everything.
VR in Education:
• Making projects• For doing something impossible inside classroom• Virtual experience for increasing motivation• More chance for creativity
VR in Engineering
•Virtual reality and the design cycle•Virtual reality and rail construction•Virtual reality and car design
VR in Medical Science:
• Virtual travel inside any object for more details• Virtual surgery and experience• For coping with some medical environment
VR in military :
•Flight simulation•Battlefield simulation•Medic training (battlefield)•Vehicle simulation•Virtual boot camp
VR in Entertainment:
•VR movie for better experience• VR games • VR travel videos•360 VR tours
Conclusion:
• “So a virtual reality is a synthetic sensory experience which may one day
be indistinguishable from the real physical world”
-Kalawsky, R.S
Recommendation:
• Virtual videos• Smart phone with gyroscope, acclamator sensor• Google cardboard
