NHA TRANG CLIMATE

• Nha Trang is known for the best weather in Vietnam. The weather is beautiful from February through October with plenty of sunny days when visitors can spend time on the beach.

Rainy season

• The rainy season takes place from October through January during which period only limited swimming and diving is possible. The weather can then be grey, the waves choppy and the waters sandy.

Rainfall

• The rainfall is less than anywhere else in the country, humidity is moderate and the area is not threatened by storms since it is protected by the Truong Son Mountains and the Ca Pass.

Average temperatures• Throughout the year the temperatures are

moderate, ranging from an average low of 19 degrees Celsius (65 degrees Fahrenheit) to an average high of 29 degrees Celsius (85 degrees Fahrenheit).

Humidity

• During the hottest months of the year (July and August) humidity is higher. But fresh winds from the sea make humidity bearable particularly in the evening and at night.

BEST TIME TO VISIT NHA TRANG

• The best time to visit Nha Trang would be from February till April, when the precipitation stays at the lowest level of the year. Spring months are also the best time to dive here. Some coral-rich dive sites that diving enthusiasts should not miss out on are Small Hill, South Reef, and Moray Beach After, all around Mun Island.

• The best diving is during the spring months.

• If your trip is firmly scheduled for July or August, remember to give Hon Ba (30 km far from city center) the first position on your tourist attraction list. The mountain with cool climate all year round is absolutely a great place to hide from the summer heat.
