                         UBUD        Ubud,  a  town  in  central  Bali,  is  far  removed  from  the  beach  party  scene  in  Kuta,  and  is  regarded  as  the  cultural  centre  of  Bali.  It  is  famous  as  an  arts  and  craFs  hub,  and  much  of  the  town  and  nearby  villages  seems  to  consist  of  arGsts'  workshops  and  galleries.  There  are  some  remarkable  architectural  and  other  sights  to  be  found,  and  a  general  feeling  of  well  being  to  be  enjoyed,  all  thanks  to  the  spirit,  surroundings,  and  climate  of  the  place.  Ubud  is  also  the  vivacious  center  of  Bali’s  arts  scene,  home  to  a  small  treasure  trove  of  museums  and  galleries.  Monkey  around  at  nearby  nature  reserve  Monkey  Forest  Park,  home  to  hundreds  of  mischievous  long-­‐tailed  macaques.    

RICE  FIELDS  TEGALALANG  (UBUD)  

                                                                                                   MONKEY  FOREST    The  Ubud  Monkey  Forest  is  a  sacred  nature  reserve  located  near  the  southern  end  of  Jalan  Monkey  Forest.    It  houses  the  temple  of  death,  and  approximately  340  crab-­‐eaGng  macaque  monkeys  live  there.

PURAH  BESAKIH,  MOTHER  TEMPLE    

Pura  besakih  is  said  to  be  the  mother  temple  and  therefore  very  important  to  Balinese  people.  The  temple  area  is  quite  extensive  and  the  temple  itself  consists  out  of  28  smaller  temples.  

Tegenungan  is  one  of  the  many  tourist  places  and  desGnaGon  in  Bali,  it  is  popular  with  waterfall.  Natural  scenery  around  Tegenungan  Waterfall  is  quite  beauGful,  with  green  trees  and  beauGful.  Near  the  waterfall  has  been  constructed  with  several  shower  baths  from  natural  springs.    

Shopping  in  and  around  the  perimeters  of  the  Ubud  village  promises  an  exciGng  adventure  that  will  add  to  a  memorable  holiday  experience.  The  whole  area  is  doaed  with  different  shops  and  galleries  suitable  for  a  free-­‐roaming  spree.    

HOLLY  WATER  TEMPLE    

Holy  water  where  Hindu  Bali  people  go  for  purificaGon.  The  temple  pond  has  spring  which  gives  out  fresh  water  regularly,  which  is  considered  as  holy  or  amritha  by  local  Hindu  Bali  people.

BUKIT  BEACHES  The  Bukit  includes  the  famous  cliff-­‐hanging  temple  at  Uluwatu,  a  number  of  Bali's  very  best  beaches  including  Balangan,  and  the  top  surfing  spots  on  the  island.  As  is  so  oFen  the  case,  it  was  intrepid  surfers  who  really  opened  up  the  eyes  of  the  world  to  this  part  of  the  island.    There  are  number  of  good  white  sand  beaches  on  the  Bukit  Peninsula  which  many  consider  the  best  in  Bali.

KECAK  FIRE  DANCE    

The  performance  is  called  a  ‘Kecak  dance’,  an  onomatopoeic  Gtle  for  the  sound  of  the  chant.  It’s  based  on  a  tradiGonal  Balinese  ritua.  The  sun  sets  during  the  performance,  and  the  sky  darkens,  the  story  builds  to  a

Tanah  Lot  is  a  rock  forma<on  off  the  Indonesian  island  of  Bali.  It  is  home  to  the  pilgrimage  temple  Pura  Tanah  Lot  (literally  "Tanah  Lot  temple”)  a  popular  tourist  and  cultural  icon  for  photography  and  general  exo<cism.  

SURROUNDINGkintamani  Kintamani  is  a  highland  in  the  north  of  east  Bali  which  encompasses  village  of  Panelokan,  Toya  Bungkah,  Batur,  and  Kintamani  itself.  These  villages  are  situated  in  the  rim  of  volcanic  Mount  Batur  and  tranquil  Lake  Batur.  A  perfect  place  to  explore  the  greenery  and  to  relax.  You  can  imagine  how  beauGful  it  is.  Don't  only  imagine.  Come  here  and  indulge  yourself  in  adventures  or  in  absolute  relaxaGon.
