Utopia Travel Agency is a business company which is related to make travel arrangement for its customers. Anything to do with travel, such as airline, bus or train booking, and accommodation arrangements.
Now Utopia Travel Agency wishes to update its computer system. The agency consists of Five staff at the moment and the system must be available for only five people and must be confidential.
Travel is a growth industry, and Utopia Travel is expected to grow strongly in the next 5 years. Currently the agency is making 100 booking per day but during peak time such as the summer holiday period, booking can reach 300 per day, with that number of inquires. Furthermore, travel industry estimates are for 10% growth for the next 5 year.
Therefore the organization is trying to expand its service and has a budget of $30,000 for a new computerized system.
Following are some packages for the organization and the organization is going to install one of the best packages under their budget.
Comparisons between a Package V, X, Y, & Z
Going through all the information provided and the organization budget, I would recommend that the organization should implement package Z because it seems to be very flexible to customers as well as under the budget.
This package contains all the facilities that are required for a business related to travel arrangements and for a normal customer.
The best part of this system is it can handle 12 transactions per minute and training is included in the same price.
So I would strongly recommend the Utopia Travel Agency to go with Package Z.

Tangible Intangible
Tangible personal property includes anything you own that is not attached to real property (land or improvements to land) and that has a physical form.
Here,Computer system with a price of $10000 is a cost for the company.
Intangible personal property includes other things without physical form, such as personal rights in intellectual property (patents, trademarks, trade secrets, etc) or vested rights in things you do not yet possess.
Room, Location, price, rates, size of the block land, Buying and Selling,
Here $10000 for the price of a computer seems to be tangible cost but it has a lot of intangible benefits as it would reduce the cost of a casual worker which is an intangible benefit for the company.
2. The technical writer wishes to work from home and reduce travelling.
The tangible cost for him would be:
Computer + Printer + Software = $3000
Cost of paper and power = $300 p.a.
but
The intangible benefit would be:
No hassle for travelling with saving of $200 / month
