“Orissa” is one state of the 29 states of India, situated in the east. It is surrounded by the West Bengal. Orissa has a great tribute in Indian history. Orissa is also well known for its temples, beaches, and culture.
“Konark“ is the most famous in the world. Konark is known for 13th century Sun Temple built by Narsimhadeva I. It lies on the coast of by the by Bay of Bengal 65 kilometres apart from capital Bhubaneswar. The sun temple is one of the various lists of seven wonders of India. The Sun Temple is designed as the gigantic chariot of the Sun God, Surya, with twelve ornamented wheels pulled by seven horses. There is not an icon of god in present, but when the sun rays entered from the sanctum sanctorum is make you feel like the presence of the divine spirit. It happens once in a year when the sun rays entered in the mandupa of the main vimana the entire temple shines with golden rays. The sculptural art is also famous, the sculptures of Orissa tells you the storeys of divine spirits.
“Chilika Lake” is a brackish water lagoon, spread over the Puri, Khurda, and Ganjam districts of Orissa. Chilika is recognized as one of the most important wetlands in the world. Chilika offers its visitors a spectacular and colourful charm to see over 160 bird species in peak season from November to February. Sea eagles, ospreys, golden plovers, sandpipers, flamingos, pelicans, shovellers, gulls, include migratory ones flying great distances from Iran, Central Asia and Siberia. Dolphins, how can you forget to make a friend like dolphin? When you will visit to Orissa I am sure you will really like Konark, especially the architecture, sculpture everything .Chilika Lake will amaze your eyes with an assortment echo of birds.
