Ladakh 3 Lakes Motorcycle Tour OverviewDay 1:The Ladakh 3 Lakes Motorcycle Tour organisers meet you at the New Delhi International Airport. Breathtaking one-hour early-morning flight in an Airbus or Boeing across the Greater Himalayas to Leh.Day 2:Warm up motorcycle tour will take us to the most famous monasteries in Ladakh - Hemis and Tikse - in the upper Indus Valley.

Day 3:Motorcycle Ride Through Western Indus Valley The Ladakh 3 Lakes motorcycle tour begins with a ride down through the western Indus Valley, stopping off at the ruins and temples of the old royal palace of Basgo and the mighty Snake Buddha statue at Likir Monastery. Our day's highlight is the oasis of Alchi.


Leh Ladakh Himalaya Motorcycle TourDay 4:The fourth days tour takes us down the Indus Valley and up the endless hairpins of the Fatu La Pass that touches 4,000 meters. We will also visit the imposing Lamayuru Monastery on the way back.


Day 5:Today we ride up narrow mountain tracks to the remote Yang Tang village and across a nameless mountain pass to Hemis Supachen, an ancient, holy juniper forest.

Day 6: Visit to Kardungh La Pass Today we cross the world's highest motorable road, the Kardungh La Pass (5,604 m)! It's a wild ride down on our motorcycles into the vast, arid expanse of Nubra Valley, where we'll visit the ancient, remote Diskit Monastery. Today's destination is Hunder, an oasis where we will have dinner and spend the night in the Snow Leopard Guest House with its cozy garden.

Day 7:Today we will have a half-day ride through the broad valley to the hot springs of Panamik, followed by an afternoon riding camels through the sand dunes of Hunder.

Day 8: From Nubra we have a steep climb along the recently opened road leading up to Wari La Pass at 5,300 metres. Later it's time to cross the truly breathtaking 5,360-meter Chan La Pass and follow a rough mountain road to the luminous blue-green magic of Pangong Lake.

Day 9 to 11:We visit the Shanti Stupa at sunset on day 9. On day 10 we ride out into the eastern Indus Valley to Mahe Bridge. After passing the Inner Border Line checkpost, and crossing the Namshang Pass which is located at an altitude of 5,050 mts we reach the land of the Tibetan nomads, with Tsomori Lake shimmering turquoise in the distance. On day 11 We explore the old monastery and hike to the tents of the nomads in the rugged valley just behind Korzok. You can also take a cool dip in Tsomori Lake.

Day 12: Today our Himalaya motorcycle tour route takes us past sulphur springs and over the windswept, 4,900-meter Pologonka Pass. Our day's highlight is Tsokar Salt Lake, a nature reserve and home of the shy wild mongoose and rare birds. Our camp is roughly 2 km from the lake, near the only fresh-water spring.

Day 13:Today we will cross the world's second-highest road pass, the Taglang La at an altitude of 5,390 mts. The leisurely ascent is followed by a spectacular motorcycle ride through a rugged gorge, descending nearly 2,000 meters to the Indus river.



Day 14 and 15: On day 14 catch a plane to Delhi in the early morning and take an AC deluxe coach from the airport directly to Agra. On day 15, the last day of our Leh Ladakh Himalaya Motorcycle tour, we leave before breakfast to see the world's most famous monument to love, the Taj Mahal, at sunrise. After breakfast and a stop at Agra's monumental Red Fort we will visit the Royal Enfield Flagship Store.
