the countryside, it often continues for 3-4 days.Traditionally, the groom's party pays the most of total finances for

the wedding. The bride’s party is responsible for some furniture e.g. kitchen and bedding

Naadam National Festival – July 11-13

The Naadam, “three games of men”- wrestling, horse riding and archery

With festivities, eating and drinking, and much socializing.

Lunar New Year Festival Tsagaan Sar

The day before Tsagaan Sar is called Bituun, people thoroughly clean around home, herders also clean the livestock barns and shades, to meet the New Year fresh.

Families will meet in the home of the eldest in the family

Many people will be dressed in full garment of national costumes.

People greet to each other with Special greeting “zolgokh”Long, blue, and a silk cloths khadag

After the ceremony, family eats: sheep's tail and mutton, rice with curds, dairy products, buuz, and airag and exchange gifts
