Instead of putting your liquids in a plastic bag to prevent them from leaking,try unscrewing the lid and putting a piece of plastic from a grocery bag over

the top and screwing the lid on over it. While a zip-lock bag will prevent spillsfrom ruining things, this method will prevent things from spilling in the first

place.

When picking a destination to travel to pick somewhere that is affordable. Youdon't want to travel somewhere that is so expensive you can't enjoy yourselfto the fullest. You want to make sure you have fun, but at the same time, you

want to make it fit into your budget.

Work off your flying anxiety with a jog before you head to the airport. Longairplane trips can be tiring to your body. Sitting in the same position for long

periods of time can cause leg and back cramps. If you get a quick workoutbefore boarding the flight, it can help to reduce the chance of getting leg

cramps. If nothing else, try stretching a little.

Make sure you check your credit card statement after you stay at a hotel. Evenif your bill is correct when you pay at check out, extra fees may find their way

into your payment. Sometimes rooms get charges twice by accident oranother guest's expenses will get put on your account. If this happens, call

the hotel's billing department right away.

In you're on a cruise and you start to experience seasickness, have the roomservice bring you some green apples and crackers. Both of these are great for

soothing your stomach and can sometime be better than medications. Andthey're also tasty and won't leave you with a foul taste in your mouth like

some seasickness meds.

If you are traveling overseas, be prepared for anything. Cultures are verydifferent once you leave the western world. Don't expect to see anything

resembling your normal life until you disembark in the United States again.Planning ahead for this will help you reduce the effects of culture shock

during your travels.
