Running from October 15-November 15, Savor the Flavor of Polk will provide a culinary highlight both for locals and anyone traveling on a Central Florida vacation.

Polk County is taking the Restaurant Week trend up a notch by unveiling its ‘Savor The Flavor’ Restaurant Event, which will last an entire month.

Traveling Foodies - Some StatsThe Travel Industry Association of America’s Profile of Culinary Travelers reports that the desire to experience regional and local cuisine is a major reason for participating in culinary travel.

85% of culinary travelers enjoy learning about the local culture and cuisines of different travel destinations.

66% of these travelers say they want their travel always to be experiential, so they make an effort to try regional cuisines, culinary specialties, local wines/spirits, etc.

Hence the idea for ‘Savor the Flavor of Polk County’ was born to give travelers even more things to do in Central Florida.

Polk County Florida abounds with award winning restaurants, bistros and cafes which give travelers something extra to look forward to on a Central Florida vacation.

Event Details

Each restaurant has created special ‘Savor the Flavor of Polk’ menus.

Two course lunch menus are offered at $10 per person.

Three course dinner menus are offered for only $25 per person.
