Overall, this was a really interesting experience. It was an authentic Chicago experience because we were switching lines on the CTA and riding various buses in order to arrive at Ukrainian Village. We sampled the local food and were able to explore the surrounding neighborhood, taking note of the architecture. Whenever we hear the word, “city,” we tend to think of tall skyscrapers and busy intersections. The fact that such a quiet neighborhood with its vintage design is also a part of the bustling Chicago really shows that it is a diverse city full of different things.
