The Odeon of Herodes Atticus in Athens: Built at the base of the Acropolis, the ancient amphitheatre of Herodeion, also known as the Odeon of Herodus Atticus, is today one of the best places to experience a live classical theatre performance. This ancient theater was built in the Roman times, in about 161 A.D. by the Roman philosopher, teacher and politician Herodes Atticus. It was built in the memory of his wife Aspasia Regilla who died in 160 AD. This semi‐circular amphitheater has a wide 1,250 feet radius with a seating capacity of more than 6,000 people. The original wall of the stage stood three storeys high and was decorated with marbles and ceramic pieces while today it stands in ruins. The stage and seating area was laid with marble while it has been renovated today. A cedar‐wooden roof covered the theatre in the ancient times.

ATHINAIS CULTURAL CENTRE is located in the city's most vibrant area, surrounded by the neighbourhoods of Votanikos, Keramikos and Gazi. New art spaces and galleries, avant‐garde theatrical companies, trendy bars and restaurants, modern loft buildings, artists studios and novel architectural design, such as the Benaki Museum on Pireos Street, have transformed this historically industrial area into the city's new cultural and artistic crossroads.In a short distance (350 metres) is located the metro station of Keramikos. Off ATHINAIS CULTURAL CENTRE, towards Athinon Ave and the area of Eleonas, the city's new financial centre is under development and will host the Athens Exchange along with banking and financial institutions, ministries, public organizations and corporate headquarters. This is a forward‐looking large scale project that will transform downtown Athens, creating a new business district with advanced infrastructure and extensive green areas, at par with similar urban developments in other major European cities.The immediate area also includes the botanical gardens of the Agricultural University of Athens and a 50 acre park, currently under construction, in the area of Eleonas. The revamping of the Votanikos area also includes the construction of two major thoroughfares linking Athinon Ave with Iera Odos and P. Ralli Ave, as well as numerous pedestrian zones that will considerably reduce through‐traffic, reviving the neighbourhood’s genteel old‐town atmosphere. The strategic location of ATHINAIS TOWER LOFTS ‐in the heart of Athens but beyond the outer traffic ring‐ affords residents easy access to the city's international airport via the national highway and the Attiki Odos ring road, and to the port of Piraeus, via the national highway.

Technopolis City of Athens has become a hub of cultural events, thus upgrading a historic area of the capital and creating another focal point in the cultural identity of Athens.

A wide variety of cultural events are held in Technopolis every year: music, dance, theatre and performing arts, plastic and applied arts, educational programs for children, entrepreneurship and temporary exhibitions, attracting over 600,000 people annually. Technopolis City of Athens offers quality entertainment and culture in reasonable prices.

The Zappeion Exhibtion Hall s purpose was to serve as an exhibi on space for Greek agricultural and manufacture products, as well as a space to introduce new technologies to the Greek public.It also served as a venue for exhibitions of paintings and sculpture, musical performances and other cultural events while the gardens were designed in order to become gathering place for Athenians and visitors.The Zappeion Exhibition Hall is not simply an impressive building surrounded by lovely gardens. But also a vision, that was conceived in 1856 by Evangelis Zappas and inaugurated in 1888 by Constantine Zappas. The Zappas firmly believed that the newly independent Greek nation needed to take its place among the nations of Europe. They proposed to King Otho of Greece that an area in the capital, close to the new palace, be set aside as a centre for exhibitions and cultural events, which they offered to fund. Athletics and the revival of the Ancient Olympic Games were also part of the vision.The new Board of Directors has embarked on an extensive program of renovation of the Zappeion Exhibition Hall and its gardens.Recently, the Zappeion Exhibition Hall became a member of Historic Conference Centres of Europe and we also plan to organize our own cultural exhibitions and musical performances.We truly believe that the Zappeion Exhibition Hall once again will emerge to take its rightful position as the foremost centre for conferences and exhibitions in the city of Athens.

The Vorres Museum is a cultural foundation that was established in 1983, with the purpose of promoting Greek art and culture, through a broad spectrum of activities, from the organization of exhibitions in Greece and abroad, to educational programs for children.The museum which sprawls over six acres, is divided into two main sections: the museum of contemporary Greek art and the folk art museum, both of which house collections that cover at least 2500 years of Greek history. The whole complex is laid out in a way that showcases the Greek spirit in a unique fashion. In the contemporary part, one of the most important and representative collections of its kind in the world is exhibited, comprising paintings, installations and sculptures by leading Greek artists, displaying a Greek interpretation of most of the international artistic currents of the second half of the 20th century.The folk art section, is an extraordinary complex of 19th century buildings, courtyards and gardens or rather a re‐adaptation and readjustment of traditional Greek architectural features housing antiquities, icons, ceramics, popular artifacts and objects used in daily Greek life centuries ago, in a manner, revealing their inherent beauty and their practical use.The gardens, wild and consisting almost entirely of Mediterranean flora are an indispensable part of the museum being described by many as the most beautiful gardens in Athens.

We would like to welcome you and your friends to the Nasioutzik Museum, a unique property just outside Athens. Set on a green, peaceful hill, the Byzantine Estate and the Meteora Mansion create a wonderful venue to celebrate the most precious moments in your life, and an ideal environment for any other type of event. Anything, from an intimate dinner to a huge celebration, from a high‐tech business event to a wild dancing party, is possible. No matter what the event, our guests enjoy an unparalleled feeling of hospitality and warmth that is present even in the smallest details.Large halls, cozy dining rooms, a museum and other spaces filled with antique treasures and art, beautiful gardens and three churches are the ideal venues for weddings, baptisms, receptions, dinner parties, luncheons, cultural events, exhibitions, charity events, concerts, conferences and seminars. Our luxurious facilities and modern equipment, as well as our experienced and enthusiastic staff, are a guarantee for successful and memorable events.You can relax and let us organize memorable events in an environment that combines the charm and beauty of the past with the luxury of the present.

O hill Koumoundouros Mikrolimano is located ancestral heritage, since there are the foundations of the ancient and famous temple of Artemis and parts of Kononeion walls, while the central position looks entering the dockyard of the ancient Athenian Democracy. Here the Yacht Club of Greece is established since 1933. Visitors Group entranced by the unique and excellent views, while eyeing the Saronic, the Piraeus coast, the lively harbors of Zea and Mikrolimano, and as a large painting, the sacred rock of the Acropolis, Lycabettus Hill and the mountains that surround the basin.The Group's facilities, dominated by traditional decorative touches that remind strongly traditional boat, ready to travel with their guests. The carefully designed gardens which surround the facilities, calm gaze and offer one of the few green lungs in Piraeus.

It was he along with his wife Souli Adami, a great supporter of the idea, whoout of curiosity, admiration and respect for our ancestors decided toseriously pursue the matter. After all, they knew that gastronomy is anintrinsic part of people’s culture. Their attempt was truly bold. Of course, being the first to create something is always bold. Fortunately, our legacy ofancient literature is very rich. Weren’t these people eating? they wondered. Not only they were eating but they had elevated food into sheer pleasure.Numbers only (21,000 citizens and 400,000 slaves) reveal that Athenians didnot need to work as modern people do and so they would devote large partof their time to philosophy, good food and wine.In order for Archeon Gefsis (Ancient Tastes) to become a reality, a largenumber of specialized scientists such as linguists, archaeologists, architectsand tasters put a considerable amount of time into studying rare manuscriptswith the aim to collect recipes and identify the eating habits of ancientGreeks. For this purpose the team of Ioannis and Souli Adamis even visitedlibraries abroad. As research progressed their surprise and admiration grew bigger! Neverwould they have imagined they would find so much information on ancientGreek gastronomy. It is enough to say that a publication calledDeipnosophistes consists of 15 volumes exclusively on ancient abbreviationsand customs. Enjoy your meal, or as ancient Greeks used to say evdipnias!
