Rowena was born in April 28, 1958 in Hong Kong.

Mr. Wong always enjoy playing with her and taking her places.

Rowena was very close to her nanny (chut jeah) who took care of her beginning the day from waking her up to putting her back in bed.

Rowena has ALWAYS enjoyed one of her favorite treats, Ice Cream!

Tying the Knot… 1981

Rowena’s wedding was held in Los Angeles where many close friends came to celebrate her marriage.

Rowena and William Chiu got married on November 14, 1981

Traditional Chinese Wedding Banquet in the evening. The best man was her second elder brother Timothy and the bride maid was her classmate Jackie.

Graduation… 1982

Graduated in California State University, Los Angeles with a business major in 1982.

Her second son, Jason, was a heavy child, tipping the scale at a little over 8 pounds!

Jason was very attached to Rowena just as his older brother when he was an infant.

The Battle Begins 2001 Against Cancer…

…And Still Having Fun!

During the recovery of the recetomey, radiation and chemotherapy, 2001

When the energy level is back she went on a short hiking trip in Los Angeles National Park. 2001

She was still active and went with the family to ski and snowboard at Snow Valley in Big Bear. 2001

She had an optimistic attitude and was very positive
