Pronom / kt. ganti orang :
Season - grammar 1
I tunggal : je jeuh ( saya )
II tunggal : tu / tu es tu e ( kamu )
III tunggal : il i ( dia laki-laki ),
elle el ( dia perempuan ),
on o ( Seseorang )
I jamak : nous nu ( kami / kita )
II jamak : vous vu ( kalian, anda )
III jamak : ils i ( mereka laki-laki jamak, mereka laki & perempuan ),
( Ada 3 group kata kerja menurut akhiran kata dasarnya.)
1er groupe : infinitif en er ( s’appeler, acheter, chanter, danser, manger,…)
kt kerja dasar berakhiran er
2e groupe : infinitif en ir ( finir ) kt kerja berakhiran ir
Ces verbe s’écrivent issons à la 1re personne du pluriel du présent de l’indicatif ( nous
finnissons ).
Untuk orang I jamak di-présent de l’indicatif, kt kerja ini tertulis berakhiran – issons ( nous finnissons ).
3e groupe : A. infinitif en ir ( partir ); B. infinitif en oir ( voir, vouloir );
C. infinitif en re ( vendre, faire, lire ); D. le verbe aller.
A. Le Présent – Les verbes 1ère group
Season - grammar 1
Hampir semua kata kerja dalam bahasa Perancis berakhiran -er
( dan hampir semua yang berakhiran -er adalah kata kerja ).
Kata kerja dari group / kelompok pertama ini berakhiran -er.
Contoh : manger, chercher, travailler, chanter,…
Di waktu sekarang / au présent de l’indicatif, kata-kata kerja ini berubah mengikuti subyeknya dan memiliki
akhiran yang sama: -e, -es, -e, -ons, -ez, -ent Contoh :
chanter
je chante
tu chantes
il / elle / on chante
nous chantons
vous chantez
ils / elles chantent
jouer
je joue
tu joues
il / elle / on joue
nous jouons
vous jouez
ils / elles jouent
partager
je partage
tu partages
il / elle / on partage
nous partageons
vous partagez
ils / elles partagen
Jouer Bermain
Finir Menyelesaikan
Attendre Menunggu
Aimer Menyukai
Detester Membenci
Rigoler Bercanda
( mon ) ami ( e ) Temanku

Jouer : Kata kerja jouer berarti "bermain". Kata ini dapat digunakan untuk hal-hal yang berkaitan
dengan olahraga atau alat musik. Jika digunakan untuk olahraga, gunakan jouer à ...,
jika digunakan untuk alat musik, gunakan jouer de ....
3e groupe : infinitif en ir ( partir ); infinitif en oir ( voir, vouloir );
infinitif en re ( vendre, faire, lire ) & le verbe aller.
F A I R E

a. Je + être = Je suis
b. Vous + être = Vous êtes
Kamu lihat ‘kan, verba être untuk subjek Je menjadi suis ( Je suis ), sedangkan verba être untuk subjek
Vous menjadi êtes ( Vous êtes ).
Begitu pula untuk verba aller, menjadi seperti ini:
a. Je + aller = Je vais
b. Vous + aller = Vous allez
Perubahan ini juga berlaku untuk subjek lainnya ( Tu, Il / Elle, Nous, On, Ils / Elles )
Season - grammar 1
B. AVOIR / ( to have )
dapat digunakan untuk menunjukkan hubungan kekeluargaan atau menyatakan umur.
Le verbe avoir au présent :
j’ ai
tu as
il / elle / on a
nous avons
vous avez
ils / elles ont
Contoh : a. J’ ai 40 ans. Aku berumur 40 th.
b. Il a un vélo. Dia ( laki ) mempunyai sepeda.
c. Ils ont deux enfants. Mereka mempunyai 2 anak.
Tu as quel âge ? Berapa umurmu ? ( lit. kamu punya berapa umur ? ) tu as kel ajz
J'ai ... ans Umur saya ... ( lit. saya punya ... tahun ) jai ... ong
J'ai trente ans Umur saya tiga puluh ( lit. saya punya tiga puluh tahun )

L’INFINITIF
Réf : Vivre Dans Les Dunes

A R T I K E L
Bahasa Perancis, sama seperti bahasa Latin lainnya, memiliki artikel yang diletakkan sebelum kata benda.
Artikel-artikel ini berubah-ubah tergantung Gender kata benda yang bersangkutan, jumlah benda tersebut, dan huruf
pertama kata tersebut.
A. La, Le, Les
Artikel definitif yang digunakan dalam bahasa Perancis ada tiga: la, le, dan les yang kurang lebih berarti
"si", "sang" atau menunjuk pada suatu hal tertentu.
Additional : l' masc. or fem. in front of : a vowel or h muet
le masculine singular
la feminine singular
l' masculine or feminine in front of a vowel or h muet
les masculine or feminine plural
Which definite article to use depends on three things: the noun's gender, number, and first letter:
If the noun is plural, use les
If it's a singular noun starting with a vowel or h muet, use l'
If it's singular and starts with a consonant or h aspiré, use le for a masc. noun
and la for a fem. Noun
Artikel definitif • L'article définitif
le tunggal, maskulin le fils anak laki-laki le fis
la tunggal, feminim la fille anak perempuan la file
l'tunggal,
maskulin / feminiml'enfant anak
lesplural,
maskulin / feminim
les filles anak-anak perempuan le file
les fils anak anak laki-laki le fis
les enfants anak-anak lesengfaong
Season - grammar 1
berakhiran "-s" lainnya.
Meaning and usage of the French definite article
The definite article indicates a specific noun.
Je vais à la banque.
I'm going to the bank.
Voici le livre que j'ai lu.
Here is the book I read
The definite article is also used in French to indicate the general sense of a noun.
This can be confusing, as definite articles are not used in this way in English.
J'aime la glace.
I like ice cream.
C'est la vie !
That's life !
The French definite article is used much more often than its English counterpart. In the introduction to the
French definite article, we learned that it is used to indicate a specific noun ( Je vais à la banque ) or to talk about a
noun in a generic sense ( J'aime la glace ). The French definite article has a number of other uses, which this lesson
will discuss in detail.
Note : When there are two or more nouns listed in a French sentence, the definite article must be listed in front of
each one.

Definite Article Contractions
The definite article changes when preceded by the preposition à or de - the preposition and article contract into a
single word The rules for French contractions are quite simple.
1. Words that are followed by a vowel, h muet, or the pronoun y drop d’ vowel n’ contract with d’ 2nd word :
A. Singular definite article : le, la
le + abricot l'abricot
la + électricité l'électricité
le + intérieur l'intérieur
le + orage l'orage
la + usine l'usine
le + home l'homme
B. Single-consonant words that end in E muet : ce, de, je, le, me, ne, que, se, te
ce + est c'est
de + histoire d'histoire
je + habite j'habite
je le + aime je l'aime
je + y vais j'y vais
je me + appelle je m'appelle
il ne + est pas il n'est pas
que + il qu'il
il se + appelle il s'appelle
je te + enverrai je t'enverrai
Exception : When the first person singular subject pronoun je is inverted, it doesn’t contract.
Puis - je + avoir Puis-je avoir Dois - je + être Dois-je être
C. The conjunctions puisque and lorsque
Puisque + on Puisqu'on Lorsque + il Lorsqu'il
2. The Prepositions à and de contract with the definite articles le and les and those forms of lequel.
Note : that la and l' do not contract.*

à + la à la de + la de la
à + l' à l' de + l' de l'
à + laquelle à laquelle de + laquelle de laquelle
Attention !
When le and les are object pronouns, rather than definite articles, they do not contract with à or de.
Je lui ai dit de le faire I told him to do it.
Il m'a aidé à les laver. He helped me wash them.
3. Contractions Figées - Set contractions
aujourd'hui is a contraction of au + jour + de + hui that dates back to the 12th century.

Season - grammar 1
B. Un, Une, Des
Artikel indefinitif yang digunakan dalam bahasa Perancis ada tiga:
un dan une yang berarti "sebuah", Dan des yang berarti "beberapa", tidak menunjuk pada suatu hal
tertentu. / "a," "an," or "one" in English, while the plural "some."
Tingkat Pertama
des merupakan artikel indefinitif ( tidak menunjuk pada suatu hal tertentu ),
Berbeda dengan les yang merupakan artikel definitif ( menunjuk pada sesuatu ).
Contoh: "saya sedang melihat foto-foto" diterjemahkan menjadi
Je regarde des photographies, sedangkan
"saya sedang melihat foto-foto itu" diterjemahkan menjadi
Je regarde les photographies.
Anda tidak dapat mengatakan Je regarde photographies karena secara tata bahasa kalimat tersebut
salah. Anda harus menggunakan salah satu dari enam artikel di atas sebelum kata benda apa pun.
"des fils" merupakan homograf ( tulisannya sama, bunyinya beda ) yang jika dibaca de fil berarti
beberapa benang.
Un tunggal masc. un fils a fis seorang anak laki-laki
Une tunggal fem. la fille an file seorang anak perempuan
Des plural fem. des filles de file beberapa anak-anak perempuan
masc. des fils de fis beberapa anak laki-laki
Note : that the plural indefinite article is the same for all nouns, whereas the singular has different forms for
masculine and feminine.
Meaning and usage of the French indefinite article
The indefinite article usually refers to an unspecified person or thing.
J'ai trouvé un livre.
I found a book.
Il veut une pomme.
He wants an apple.
The indefinite article can also refer to just one of something:
Il y a un étudiant dans la salle.
There is one student in the room.
Season - grammar 1
J'ai une sœur.
I have one sister.
The plural indefinite article means "some":
J'ai acheté des pommes.
I bought some apples.
Veux-tu acheter des livres ?
Do you want to buy some books?
When referring to a person's profession or religion, the indefinite is not used in French, although it is
used in English. I know, I know, the exceptions never end. :
Je suis professeur.
I am a teacher.
Il va être médecin.
He's going to be a doctor.
In a negative construction, the indefinite article changes to de, meaning "( not ) any":
J'ai une pomme. > Je n'ai pas de pommes.
I have an apple. > I don't have any apples.
De vs Du, De la, Des
The partitive articles in French correspond to "some" or "any" in English.
There are four forms of the French partitive article:
du masculine singular
de la feminine singular
de l' masc. or fem. in front of a vowel or h muet
des masc. or fem. plural
The form of the partitive article to use depends on three things :
the noun's number, gender, and first letter :
If the noun is plural, use des
If it's singular starting with a vowel or h muet, use de l'
If it's a singular noun and starts with a consonant or h aspiré, use du for a masc. noun
and de la for a fem. noun
Meaning and Usage of The French Partitive Article
The partitive article indicates an unknown quantity of something, usually food or drink.
It is often omitted in English.
Season - grammar 1
Avez-vous bu du thé ?
Did you drink some tea?
J'ai mangé de la salade hier.
I ate salad yesterday.
Nous allons prendre de la glace.
We're going 2 hav some ice cream.
After adverbs of quantity, use de instead of the partitive article.
Il y a beaucoup de thé.
There is a lot of tea.
J'ai moins de glace que Thierry.
I have less ice cream than Thierry.
In a negative construction, the partitive article changes to de, meaning "( not ) any":
J'ai mangé de la soupe. > Je n'ai pas mangé de soupe.
I ate some soup. > I didn't eat any soup.
The preposition de tends to be very difficult for French students, even at advanced levels. Trying to figure out
whether to use de, du, de la, or des can be a real challenge ! This lesson is a summary of when to use the
preposition de all by itself and when to use the indefinite article, partitive article, or de + definite article ( which
looks like the partitive - but isn't. Ugh ! )
Note : This lesson assumes that you already understand the key grammar
topics discussed.
If necessary, you can review them by clicking on the hyperlinks.
Note : See also SEASON – GRAMMAR – REVIEW ( 1ST page )
Hati-hati !
Misalnya :
I’m 30 years old. —> J’ai 30 ans. —> Saya berumur ( mempunyai umur) 30 th.
She’s thirsty —> Elle a soif —> Dia haus
Season - grammar 1
C. Liaison
Berikut beberapa contoh tambahan :
Gender kata benda • Genre des Noms
Maskulin
le cheval kuda
e chien anjing
le livre buku
le bruit suara
Feminim
la colombe merpati
la chemise baju
la maison rumah
la liberté kebebasan

NOUNS
Every French noun has a grammatical gender, either masculine or feminine. The grammatical gender of a noun
referring to a human or other mammal usually corresponds to the noun's natural gender
(i.e., its referent's sex or gender).
Season - grammar 1
For such nouns, there will very often be one noun of each gender, with the choice of noun being determined by
the natural gender of the person described
for example : a male singer is a chanteur, while
a female singer is a chanteuse.
In some cases, the two nouns are identical in form, with the difference only being marked in neighboring
words ( due to gender agreement ),
a Catholic man is un Catholique, while
a Catholic woman is une Catholique.
Nonetheless, there are some such nouns that retain their grammatical gender regardless of natural gender
personne ("person") is always feminine, while ( at least in "standard" French )
professeur ("teacher") is always masculine
( except in Québec where professeure is used for feminine ).
However, modern French allows "professeur" to be feminine as well, if the subject is feminine.
A noun's gender is not perfectly predictable from its form, but there are some trends. As a very broad trend,
nouns ending in -e tend to be feminine, while the rest tend to be masculine, but there are many exceptions.
More consistently, some endings,
such as -sion and -tion, occur almost exclusively on feminine nouns, while others,
such as -eau, occur almost exclusively on masculine ones.
Nonetheless, a noun that seems masculine from its form might actually be feminine
e.g. souris — "mouse", or less commonly, vice versa
e.g. squelette — "skeleton".
A small number of nouns can be used either in masculine or feminine gender with the same meaning
e.g. : après-midi "afternoon".
Often one gender is preferred over the other. Some ( very rare ) nouns change gender according to the way they
are used: e.g. : the words amour, délice ( "love" and "delight, pleasure" )
are masculine in singular and feminine in plural,
: the word orgue ( "organ" ) is masculine, but when used emphatically in plural to
refer to a church organ it becomes feminine ( les grandes orgues )
the plural name gens ( "people" ) changes gender in a very unusual way,
depending on the adjectives that are used with it.
As with English, nouns are inflected for number; the plural noun is usually formed from the singular by adding the
suffix -s, or sometimes -x.
However, since final consonants are generally not pronounced in French, adding -s or -x does not
generally affect pronunciation, so the singular and plural forms of most nouns are generally pronounced
the same.
Further, nouns that end in -s ( e.g., Français — "Frenchman" ), -x or -z in their singular forms generally
do not change forms even in writing.
Season - grammar 1
However, some nouns are pronounced differently in their plural forms:
for example : œil ("eye") becomes yeux,
cheval ( "horse" ) becomes chevaux, and
os ( "bone" or "bones" ) is pronounced differently
when it is plural ( [ o ] ) from when it is singular ( [ ɔs ] ).
and even with nouns for which this is not the case, a distinction will still usually be made in speech, as there will
usually be a neighboring article or determiner whose pronunciation does change with the noun's number ( due to
number agreement ). As with English, most uncountable nouns are grammatically treated as singular, though
some are plural,
such as : les mathématiques ( "mathematics" ),
and some nouns that are uncountable in English are countable in French,
such as : une information ( "a piece of information" ).
Nouns in French are not inflected for any other grammatical categories. ( However, personal pronouns are
inflected case and person )
