През 1972 г., след старта на първата българска апаратура P-1, изстреляна със спътника Интеркосмос-8 станахме 18-ата страна в света, изследваща космическото пространство

1979 - Bulgaria prepared its first cosmonaut Georgi Ivanov - Експерименти за изследване на
природните оптични емисии в атмосферния въздух (Прибора ДЪГА);- Многоканален спектрометричен прибор за дистанционно наблюдение на Земята от Космоса (спектрометър Спектър -15);- Психо-физиологичен мониторинг на космонавтите (оборудване СРЕДЕЦ);- Опити за космически изследвания на физически материали.
1988 - the second Bulgarian cosmonaut Aleksandar Aleksandrov. We prepared more than 42 experiments and 12 onboard systems.
