Candy ‘grew up’ in the beauty business and has over thirty-years of hairdressing experience. Like her father, Jamison Shaw, she’s considered one of the world’s top stylists. Candy owns Atlanta’s Jamison Shaw Hairdressers, a fifty-year-young, third-generation family business where she employs 50 people in her salon’s 5,000 square-foot, 50 chair facility. Candy works ‘behind the chair’ full-time and with assistant help sees up to 35 clients per day. In 1996, she founded Jamison Shaw Advanced Hairdressing Systems, Inc., an advanced training academy which teaches French cutting and balayage highlighting techniques. Her Academy has taught thousands of students and salon owners worldwide. In 2014, Candy launched a new professional product line called Sunlights Balayage featuring a state-of-the-art balayage lightener named SUNLIGHTS™, specifically formulated for balayage highlighting along with THE BALAY BOX™, a kit containing everything a stylist needs to become a balayage artist! Candy was named “One of the World’s Ten Most Published Stylists”. Some of her celebrity clientele include Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert and Rascal Flatts.
