BISD Technology Plan was developed for the usage of technology in the school district over the next 5 years.

The Plan’s Infrastructure is to be flexible

to change with new technology.

Plan for technology

In accordance with the Texas Long Range Plan,

BISD has their own technology goals for the district

BISD Goals• Incorporate technology as a part of education.

• Provide staff development in the use of new technology & the integration to education.• Include technology information when making district decisions.• Technical personnel to communicate & improve

access to dats & resources.

Computer/Student Ratio

4 students for every computer

No Child Left Behind

BISD meets on a regular basis to discuss The district’s technology planning progress in Accordance with Texas Long-Range Plan for

Technology and the No Child Left Behind.

Training Sessions for Educators

• Inservices are made available during district training sessions yearly.

• Director of Information Services maintains Update technology services for student learning.

The Texas Library Standards

• Implemented with the district • Training in the use of Web based

library system ongoing.
