Creating a Test Pool

Select Pool Manager

Select Add Pool

Name and Describe the pool

From the drop down menu choose the question type

and click GO

Many types of questions can be added, such as: Multiple Choice, T/F, Hot Spot (click an area of an

image), Ordering, Essay, and more

Each type of question will have different

options

Select the Correct Answer

Number of choices

Continue to add questions

Modify or Remove Questions

When finished click OK

Additional Settings are available by clicking

Creation Settings

Select Options

The completed pool has been added to the

Pool Manager

Modify

Some publishers provide test pools that can be uploaded to the pool manager

These test pools must be compatible with Blackboard 6 or higher

The Pool can be used to add a test to the assignments area (see creating tests from pools)
