The variation in price between Self-Published and Traditional authors is not determined by Sales Rank. The higher ranked titles have the same price difference as the lower priced titles

How to Authors fare vs Publishers?

Although there are less Self-Published titles out there in general, they are performing well comparatively to the Traditional Publishers

• Make sure your titles are available as widely as possible –huge opportunities out there.

• Experiment with pricing consistently

• Focus on metadata – key advantage to publishers
