Week 3 Project:Mobile and Tablet Design

Fundamentals of Web Design

We feel lost without them.

Even my two year old nephew uses and makes purchases on them.

It’s our cell phones and tablets.

Did you know that ninety-one percent of people on earth own a cell phone?

Of that ninety-one percent fifty-six percent own a smart phone only use the device as their primary

access to the internet and shopping.

In 2012 EBay's mobile sales exceeded even its own projections by 7 billion dollars.

These kinds of surges in the mobile marketplace has caused more companies to integrate their website

technologies and techniques for more mobile usability.

Some of these technologies and techniques are:Vector Reconsiderations, Graphic Compression

and Mobile Analytics.

Some examples of websites whose mobile versions are not so great are the CW’s mobile

site and yahoo mobile.

Some great sites are sites such as eBay, Amazon and ABC.
