- Don’t go overboard bragging about your product. Rather generate something that is interesting or

least interested in someone who keeps talking about himself or herself all the

time, when you needed to push products to the customers. Today, you

write about your product but whatever you write make it compelling,

interesting and fun.

- Social media is all about listening and creating friendships. Listening skill is important even in relatively passive mediums like the internet. See what they are interested in. Ask questions and take feedback. This will keep the current friends or fans glued and they will be prone to share your content.

- Behind every successful endeavor today, there is a huge network. To have

a huge network of real fans and followers, you need to build the right

relationships. There is no point in having one thousand spammer Twitter

It looks good in numbers but is not of any value. It’s time we look beyond numbers and learn to calculate and analyze the health and strength of a social network differently. There are some good social media monitoring

- Use social media tools, but do not rely on them. Be human and add that human touch to your social media

presence. People love you when they know you are like them.
