• Literal Content: What is literally represented in the image? Make no assumptions.
• Interpreted Content: What is implied/suggested/felt by the literal content?

Content vs. FormFORMComposition is how the overall space of the artwork is used.• Good composition creates a dynamic space where everything is considered and feels intentional. The viewer is allowed to move throughout the entire compositional space.
• Bad composition consists of awkward unused spaces. It feels poorly planned and unintentionally focuses the viewer’s attention too much in one place.
