First classPeople in first class were very rich. First class were allowed to do a lot of things. They could go to the swimming pool, squash court and the gymnasium. They could also go to the Turkish bath. They had massive rooms and there were electric fires in them. A lot of people in first class looked down at third class people and if one of the third class looked at them they would be insulted.

Second classPeople in second class were people like teachers and lawyers. They could do a few things like shuffleboard and other games. They had good rooms but they were not as good as first class rooms. They were not allowed to go to the places where the first class were.

Third classPeople in third class didn’t have much money so they could just scrape together enough money to get a third class ticket. They had nothing very fun to do in third class. In the day they could go to the poop deck or stay in their cabins. They could not mix with first or second class people. They had cabins with bunk beds instead of normal beds. Many people said that their cabins were like a second class cabin in any other ship.

People involved Bruce Ismay owned the Titanic Edward Smith captained the ship Thomas Andrews designed it Lord William Pirrie owned Harland And

Wolff and they built Titanic

People at fault There were many people at fault for the

sinking of the Titanic Captain Smith ignored seven iceberg

warnings from his crew and other ships Bruce Ismay forced Captain Smith to go

fast so the Titanic could break a record Harland and Wolff did not use quality iron

rivets to hold the Titanic together Thomas Andrews did not design big

compartments and if he did, the water couldn’t have got into so many compartments and he didn’t put in enough lifeboats.
