Modern Day Example(s):

This type of government is a combination of democratic (capitalist) and communist theories.

Ideas: govt controls big business, people own small businesses, people have rights, more than one political party.

This is the belief that government should provide more social welfare programs.

Beliefs include: pro-choice, want

more environmental laws, less money on defense, support gay marriage.

This U.S. political party believes that government should be actively involved in social welfare of citizens; not violent; peaceful gradual change.
