What is expected • The astute Shad entrepreneur will identify a niche

that fills a specific need for this growing segment of the population, and use scientific, engineering, and technological rigour to design a product/process or organization that will benefit this emerging demographic.

What’s expected from Shads

• Innovating using triple bottom line principles of :– creating economic value while considering – social responsibility and – environmental sustainability

• participants will explore the boundaries between technology, science, design, and art that fit the theme.

• Shads will realize that one day they too may encounter this issue.
