• PA Admin, ParentAccess Administration– All references to Classic ParentAccess have been removed

• PA Admin, District Setup

• PA Admin, District Setup– Ability to enter a school website address to be access from

the district alias in the Banner from ParentAccess

• PA Admin, District Setup– Ability to select whether:

• ParentAccess is available for Parents and Students• To allow teachers to upload images and/or documents

• PA Admin, Page Level Security– The menu items available for Staff, Parents and Students

• PA Admin, Page Level Security– Districts choose which menu items will be available for

staff, parents and/or students

• PA Admin, Page Level Security– Grayed menu items set by default.– Users cannot modify.

• PA Admin, Page Level Security– Family Change Student Password, not a menu item

• Option in Family Manage Student• If not enabled, parents and students will receive message ’We’re Sorry’

account is active

• Update Email Address– Displays in ParentAccess:

• Post Homework– Additional text displayed in place of end date if entered

• Post Class Information– Changed from Post Home page

• Post Class Information– Same functionality as Classic ParentAccess

• Setup Classes for ParentAccess– Same functionality as Classic ParentAccess

• Setup Classes for ParentAccess– Don’t show student averages

• Setup Classes for ParentAccess– Don’t show letter grades

• Create Parent Account– Parents need:

• Parent Registration Key for the Student• Student’s First and Last Name as in GradeBook• Student’s Birthday *Secret Information

• Sign Up– First and Last Name required– Email address required

• To retrieve or reset account information if forgotten

• Account– Parents and Student create their own User Name and

• Sign Up– Enter the Student information from the letter.

• After clicking Register– Log in to your new account

• Create a Student Account– I am a student

• Student Account– Enter Account Information

• Clicking Register– Validate account was created successfully– Log in to your new account

• Forget User Name and/or Password– Parent and Student’s with Email addresses– Select Can’t access your account

• Forget User Name and/or Password– If forgot both, select User Name first– Will send Email with your User Name– Password, will send a link to reset password

• Link valid for 30 minutes– After 10 attempt, account is locked for 10 minutes

• Suggested Browsers– When users log in to ParentAccess using Internet Explorer

8, a new Improve Your Experience window displays suggesting supported browsers.

– Users can continue without upgrading by clicking Continue anyway

• Note: Absence Comments from StudentInformation also display

• Alerts– Same functionality as in Classic ParentAccess

• Profile– Allows parent or student to update their first and last name

and Email address.– Only Parent Accounts will have students with Manage

• Change Password– Allows parent or student to change their password

• Manage Students– Allows parent to change their child’s password– Create an account for a child– Register an additional child, if they receive the letter after

creating their parent account.• Must have a Parent Registration Key for the additional child

• Manage Students, Create Account for student– Students are not required to have an Email address

• Manage Students, Add a child to your Parent Account– Must have letter with First and Last Name as in GradeBook– Must have Parent Registration Key for the child
