letter from SHEAHoN ZENGER
Dear Jayhawk Supporters:
Thank you for your support and commitment to Kansas Athletics and the University of Kansas.
Membership to the Williams Education Fund, which provides academic and athletic support for our student-athletes, is vital to our success. The Williams Education Fund has been at the core of Kansas Athletics’ success since its founding by Dick, Skipper and Odd Williams in 1949. In order to maintain and increase our success, we must keep our donor support strong and also reach new members.
Joining the Williams Education Fund directly benefits our student-athletes. Financial contributions translate into academic and athletic support to more than 500 student-athletes each year. I hope you have enjoyed the personal messages from our student-athletes on the video board thanking Williams Fund members for your support. We have challenged our student-athletes to compete at the highest level on the field of play and in the classroom each and every day. It is your support that makes this possible.
We have accomplished great things together but still have a lot of work to do to strengthen the athletic and academic legacy of the University of Kansas. Our coaches, student-athletes and staff understand that we must stay focused and work hard to be competitive in the classroom and on the court, in the water, or on the field. We rely on our donors to the Williams Education Fund to help support these efforts.
With all of us working together our legacy, laced with tradition and success, will continue for years to come.
Rock Chalk,
Sheahon Zenger, Director of Athletics, University of Kansas

the PLEDGE SYSTEM
1. A pledge, or committed donation amount, may be directed in writing or full payment to:
• Unrestricted – This is the preferred method of giving as it allows the most latitude to fund the
areas of greatest need (see student-athlete expenses on page 2).
• Scholarships – Toward tuition, fees, room, board and books for our student-athletes.
Margin-of-Excellence gifts are directed toward sport operating expenses and DO NOT provide scholarship support.
2. Once a pledge of at least $100 (Outland level) is recorded, the membership becomes active and
eligible for benefits, including tickets.
3. Final payment can be completed up front or partially throughout the fund drive until the
March 3, 2014 deadline.
• Check, Electronic Fund Transfer or Money Order — Full payment or scheduled deduction(s) • Credit Cards — Full payment or scheduled deduction(s) • gift of Appreciated Property – Stocks, bonds, mutual funds, real property, etc. • gift-In-kind – A good or service pre-approved by the Athletics Director. • Matching gift – Occasionally offered through employers for athletics-related gifts. Please contact KU Endowment at 785.832.9696 for more information. • Deferred giving – Please contact Williams Education Fund at 785.864.3946 for more information.

the priority point system was developed to create a fair way to determine priority for season ticket seating.
• Members receive priority points for various areas of support (see adjacent chart).
• Priority points accumulate over the account’s history but are only activated for accounts with a minimum $100 (Outland level) membership.
• Members are ranked in order of their priority point total (see below) and are assigned a “Select-A-Seat” appointment to choose season ticket location out
of available seat inventory (see back cover for future same seat option).
