valuation and the retirement of

outstanding bonds, it is anticipated that the passage

of this bond issue will maintain a stable tax rate within the

Edmond School District.*

• Adding more than fifty (50) new classrooms

/ Shelters

• Adding Media Center / Shelter

• Three (3)new gymnasiums / Shelters

• Upgrading two high school stadiums

• Remodeling and upgrading more than

250,000 square feet of existing school

spaces

2017 Edmond Schools Bond Issue

• Edmond has passed 57 straight bond issues

since 1959.

• The 2015 School Bond issue passed with 87%

of voters marking yes.

• All projects which were planned and

communicated to the community at the

time are on the 2017 Bond Issue.

• There is no planned tax increase.

• It takes a 60% yes vote to pass.
