With 29 years of the experience, The SHOES & LEATHER - GUANGZHOU has become one
of the most influencial exhibition in the industry. The 29th International Exhibition on Shoes
and Leather Industry - Guangzhou was successfully held on 28 - 31 May 2019 at the China
Import and Export Fair Complex, Area B. Being a remarkable and international one-stop
platform, SHOES & LEATHER- GUANGZHOU 2019 attracted 672 exhibitors from 18
Countries and Regions (including: Bangladesh, China, Germany, Hong Kong, India,
Indonesia, Italy, Korea, New Zealand, Pakistan, Portugal, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey,
United Kingdom, United States and Vietnam) to participate in a 55,000 sqm. exhibition hall.
There were 13 International Pavilions from 7 Countries and Regions coming from Bangladesh,
China, Hong Kong, Italy, India, Korea and Taiwan, to support and showcase the most latest
and quality products in SHOES & LEATHER - GUANGZHOU 2019.

11th International Footwear Design Competition 2019
The International Footwear Design Competition was first held since 2008, organized by the Confederation of International Footwear Conference (CIFA) and has come to its 11th Editions. The event is sponsored by Xinhaopan Group and Top Repute Co. Ltd. and it is to promote the essential design and to achieve fine producing skill and quality as well as to introduce designer’s creativity and concept through the competition and provide opportunities of matching them with manufacturers. Totally 159 entries were submitted by the candidates from 11 Countries and Regions: China (Beijing and Guangdong), Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam to compete for 30 awards.
The juror committee was formed by 12 professional and famous international designers, trend experts, footwear consultants, lecturers and representative of worldwide footwear associations. The winning entries were awarded during the Opening Dinner Banquet and showcased at the IFDC winning area at Hall 12.2 during the exhibition.

Design Walk
A non-profit, non-commercial platform is sponsored by numerous renowned shoes manufacturers,
federation and international footwear association to showcase the stylish footwear, leather products and
accessories. The purpose of Design Walk is to bring out the new inspiration from the creativity and
innovative designs with visitors by presenting more than 100 artworks, the fashionable footwear and
accessories, together with the leather good products.

Designer Corner
It is a non-profit, non-commercial platform for designers to communicate
and to present their stylish footwear, leather products and accessories. The
activity aims at stimulating designers to be innovating in designing,
including the usage of new materials and colors, etc., for enhancing the
quality and creativity of the products. Also, a number of colleges have been
invited to showcase their collections and to hold knitting classes.
Footwear Discovery
This year, we have added a new event - Footwear Discovery. It provides an opportunity for associations to
exchange ideas with the audiences. During the exhibition, worldwide footwear associations were invited to the
exhibition, for bringing visitors the latest information in the market, allowing them to understand more on the
future trends and opportunities.
The 38th International Footwear Conference-
Confederation of International Footwear Association
A multi- national conference organized by China Leather Industry Association and The Association of Guangdong
Shoes Manufacturers was held on 27 May, 2019. Committees from 17 countries and regions presented the latest industry
annual report of the country and share their forecast in the development trend on footwear industry.
