4.4.3: Evaluation of construction:

Here are a few responses that I had to my music video.

“I think its really well recorded and very well presented though towards the middle It’s difficult to understand what the storyline is. I also think the acting was very well done”

“I think this video is very good considering it is for school work. The story of the video really fits with the song.- The camera shots are good as you used a variety of them however the middle section was a bit shaky which made it a little harder to see but at the same time it fit with the fact that you guys were meant to be running. I think the strengths of the music video is the originality and creativity of it and the use of shots but i think the weaknesses are the shaky middle part. Xx”

I think that my music video was successful and showed true originality and creativity. We used a variety of shots in it and learnt different ways in which to vary the use of the camera. I think that some of the weaknesses of the piece would have to be the middle section where we didn’t actually use a tripod. If I were to do this again, I would have got a tripod from the beginning so some of the scenes wouldn’t have had to be re-shot. I think that some of the strengths of the video are the shots and the originality of it. I think it was very good as I hadn’t had any experiencing in making a music video and happened to take them to a whole new level. I am proud of what I achieved and have learnt a lot from doing this.
