With parental notice, students may need to stay after school to complete missing homework.

What Can You Do to Help?What Can You Do to Help? Encourage discussion at home about your child’s day.

Ask him/her to explain a specific lesson or activity that interested them.

Ask him/her to read their homework directions to you and check for understanding.

Offer assistance, but do not do the work for your child.

If your child struggles with any one assignment for more than 50 min. (excluding projects), send them in to see me at 8:00 am the next day for extra help.

write a response. Take the materials on their desk. Be sure to sign the “CD Handbook” receipt

form on the table. Sign up for a December report card conference

and Volunteer Opportunities (sheets located on front table) if desired.
