What is 5S and why do we want to do it?
5S is short for:
Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain
5s son cortas por:
Eliminar, Ordenar, Limpiar, Estandarizar, Respectar y Mejorar
5S
1. Sort - All unneeded tools, parts and supplies are removed from the area
2. Set in Order - A place for everything and everything is in its place
3. Shine - The area is cleaned as the work is performed 4. Standardize - Cleaning and identification methods are
consistently applied 5. Sustain - 5S is a habit and is continually improved Work areas are safe and free of hazardous or dangerous conditions (Safety is the sixth “S”)
5sEliminar: Todas las herramientas que no sean necesarios , partes y suministros se retiran de la zona
Ordenar: Un lugar para todo, y todo esta en su lugar
Limpiar: El área se limpia como se realiza el trabajo
Estandarizar: Métodos de limpieza y de identificación se aplican consistentemente
Respetar y Mejorar: 5’s en un habito y se mejora continuamente
Las áreas de trabajo son seguros y libres de condiciones arriesgadas o peligrosas ( La seguridad es la sexta " S " )
