DESCRIPTION
It is a rare opportunity for one to be involved in a selection process of such a prestigious awards as the RAFI Triennial Awards. The lives of the five finalists for exemplary individual and the five finalists for outstanding institution, real heroes of our time, are being celebrated and I am particularly privileged to be part of this celebration. I am sure that like me, the public greatly appreciates this initiative and continuing program of the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. of recognizing and giving honor to the living heroes of Visayas and Mindanao --- in the hope that through them and their stories, more people and organizations will be inspired to emulate their lives for the welfare of the greater public.
