•  Keep any claims realistic – do not over-sell yourself! •  Over-detailed/long – aim for 2 pages as a maximum! •  Writing in the third person – can come across as strange! •  Too “fussy”/artistic - keep it structured and simple! •  Dishonesty – it’s a waste of everybody’s time! •  Complex words – simplicity is the key! •  Too much focus on WE – remember that the CV is about YOU!
