Principales Objetivos ICOLD:

• Impulsar avances en el diseño, construcción, mantenimiento y explotación de

presas

• Intercambiar/Diseminar la información existente y el estudio de las cuestiones

relacionadas con las presas.

Constitución de ICOLD:

• ICOLD tiene la obligación de celebrar anualmente una reunión ejecutiva,

convocada por su oficina central de París, y con la participación de todos los países

miembros, en la que se debatirán y resolverán, entre otras, todas aquellas

cuestiones relativas a su forma de organización interna, renovación o elección de

nuevos cargos, administración de fondos, dirección de estudios, actividades a

desarrollar por sus Comités Técnicos, elección de miembros que formarán parte de

éstos, etc.

Congresos Internacionales:

Cada 3 años [1º Estocolmo (Suecia-1933 ) y 3º en 1948 (1º después de la 2ª Guerra

Mundial)
