例如：

in 表示“在……里面” .
门窗、钉子、洞、孔等“在墙上”，就用 in the wall ，表示是在墙的里面；表示人、鸟、风筝等“在树上”就用 in the tree.
例如：

鸟在树上。
under 表示“在……下面” , 通常指一物 体在 另一物体的正下方 ( 垂直下方 ), 往往不接触。
